Lucía Díez began her piano studies with Professor Julia Lorenzo, a distinguished disciple of Esteban Sánchez, and continued her training at the Amaniel Professional Conservatory of Music in Madrid under the guidance of Julia Díaz Yanes. During this time, she performed as a soloist with the Amaniel Conservatory Orchestra and graduated with top honors, earning the Final Grade Award in both Piano and Chamber Music.

Her passion for musical excellence led her to the Higher Conservatory of Music of Badajoz, where she studied under the renowned maestro Alexander Kandelaki. She graduated with the highest distinction, receiving the Honorary Distinction and Extraordinary Award.

A scholarship from Juventudes Musicales de Madrid allowed her to further her studies in Germany, where she pursued a Master of Music at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg with Professor Tilman Krämer. Her time there was marked by outstanding academic success, graduating with top grades. Later, she completed a Master’s degree in Interpretation and Performance Research of Spanish Music at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, under the mentorship of the esteemed pianist Ana Guijarro.

Throughout her career, she has participated in masterclasses with legendary pianists such as Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Boris Berman, Julian Martin, Nino Kereselidze, Dimitri Bashkirov, Lilya Zilberstein, Josep Colom, Marta Gulyas, Robert Levin, Paul Badura-Skoda, Galina Egyazarova, and many others.

She has performed as a soloist with the Freiburger Studentenorchester and the Orquesta Clásica de Granada. Her recitals have been celebrated in various prestigious concert cycles such as the “Esteban Sánchez” series in Badajoz, “Kutur im Rössle,” “Ebneter Kultursommer,” and at the Ungarisches Kulturinstitut in Stuttgart, in collaboration with the Consulate of Spain. Additionally, she collaborates with the Extremadura Orchestra and has worked as a répétiteur on projects like “Ópera Joven” in Badajoz and with the Ensemblement group on the “Ópera de la Vera” project, performing L’elisir d’amore by G. Donizetti in 2023 and La Sonnambula by V. Bellini in 2024.

Her passion for teaching has led her to work at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Badajoz. Currently, she is a professor and accompanist pianist at the “Juan Vázquez” Professional Conservatory of Music in Badajoz, continuing to inspire and guide the next generation of musicians.
