Activities

Individual and group lessons.

All students will attend daily classes and will receive a minimum of three individual lessons with their instrumental teacher, each approximately one hour long, tailored to their level and specific needs.

Study pianos will also be available for students to use throughout the programme.

All active participants, in addition to individual instrumental lessons, will have access to:

  • Chamber Music classes, instrumental groups, or ensembles.

  • Jazz and modern music groups.

  • Repertoire sessions with an accompanying pianist.

    Participants will also benefit from educational talks, exhibitions, and other enriching activities.

Swimming pool and leisure activities.

In addition, students will have the opportunity to take part in concerts during the week in Sorbas and nearby towns to promote their musical talent.

*The offered specialities must meet a minimum number of students to be conducted. In the event this number is not reached, these students will be informed in advance so they may join with their instruments in the most similar speciality or choose not to attend the event.

**Students who wish to perform their pieces with an accompanying pianist must send the sheet music for the piano part in PDF format to the email address: festival@fimsal.org before the start of the course.

Accommodation

To facilitate students’ attendance at the course, the option is available to enrol with full-board accommodation for those who request it, or meals only for students travelling from nearby towns. Accommodation will be provided at Hostal Sorbas and Hotel Museo Lucainena in double or triple rooms, allocated according to the type of students, possibilities, and needs, ensuring the optimal development of the festival and a harmonious coexistence.

Minors will be supervised 24 hours a day by qualified monitors, and compliance with the rules of conduct established by the course organisation will be mandatory

During the festival, qualified leisure activity supervisors will be responsible for the care, supervision, and accompaniment of underage students at all times. They will pay special attention to leisure activities during free time, ensuring order and adherence to rules of coexistence throughout the course, as well as during the necessary night-time rest of the students.

All participants will be covered by accident insurance and civil liability insurance for the duration of the course.
