Piano

David Serrano, from La Mancha region, is holding a Bachellor Piano degree, a Master's in Teacher Training, and a Master of Performance from the Royal College of Music in London, and is an active concert performer and a renowned repertoire pianist. He has performed as a soloist in various venues across Spain, France, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, participating in the recording of soundtracks for short films and world premieres of works by contemporary composers. He has taken part in international festivals in London, Brussels, Gijón, Málaga, Lucena, and Nancy (France).

A student of the distinguished professors Alexander Kandelaki and Nino Kereselidze, he was awarded the Special Prize for Musicality at the "Marisa Montiel" Competition in Linares and received a finalist mention in the "Infanta Cristina" Competition in Madrid, among others.

He combines his career as a repertoire pianist for vocalists with teaching, having spent six years as a piano teacher, accompanying pianist, and coordinator of music and performing arts at the Conservatory of Music and Dance at SJE College in Torrejón de Ardoz. He regularly performs with orchestras, choirs, and chamber ensembles, such as the DOM Symphony Orchestra, the Spanish Interfaith Young Ensemble, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Alcalá de Henares, the OFMAN, Musicalma, and the Choir of the Jewish Community of Madrid.

Currently, he forms an artistic duo with the esteemed mezzo-soprano Mónica Redondo, with whom he has performed in various concerts, such as at the Rubens Festival 2024 (4th edition) in the revelation artist concert entitled "Passion, Disenchantment, and Death", or in the 2024 Lyric Season in A Coruña with the recital Rising Generation, titled "Between Seas".
