Artem Keshabyan, born in Armenia, is a distinguished Spanish violinist with a strong artistic and academic background. He holds an Artist Diploma from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock (Germany), where he studied under the renowned Professor Axel Wilczok, Concertmaster of the Staatskapelle Berlin. Additionally, he has obtained hisBachelor's degree from the Conservatorio de Música “Bonifacio Gil” in Badajoz, where he trained under Professor Olga Vilkomirskaya, a pupil of David Oistrakh, previously he studied at Conservatorio “Manuel Masotti Littel” in Murcia, under the guidance of Professor Joaquín Palomares.
His professional experience includes collaborations with prestigious international orchestras, such as the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, where he served as Konzertmaster, and the Neubrandenburger Philharmonie, where he was the principal violinist of the second violin section. Furthermore, he has performed with renowned orchestras in the United States and Europe, including the Classical Concert Chamber Orchestra of Los Angeles and the Camerata de Murcia. He was also a member of the Barenboim-Said Academy Orchestra and frequently collaborates as a guest violinist with the Orquesta Ciudad de Almería.
In the competitive field, Artem has been awarded First Prize in the International Violin Competition “Hopes, Talents & Masters” in Bulgaria and the International Competition “Renaissance” in Armenia. He also won Third Prize and the Audience Prize in the Chamber Music Competition of the HMT Rostock as part of the Rostock String Quartet.
Alongside his performance career, Artem has developed extensive pedagogical experience, providing private tuition to professional musicians, offering orchestral coaching, and delivering masterclasses as a guest lecturer at the State Conservatory of San Javier in Spain. Between 2010 and 2013, he taught at the Musical School "Bad Kleinen" in Germany.
With a diverse repertoire and a commitment to excellence in both performance and education, Artem Keshabyan continues to play a vital role on stage and in the classroom in Berlin, where he is currently based.
